Air & Waste Management Association: Scholarship Program

PURPOSE:
Annual award to assist graduate students working toward and training for careers in aspects of air pollution control and waste management.
FIELD OF STUDY:
Natural resources, civil and environmental engineering, environmental toxicology, and other fields related to air and waste management.
ELIGIBILITY:
Full-time students, either continuing or entering graduate study, in appropriate fields. Awards are made on the basis of academic record, plan of study, career goals, letters of recommendation, and extracurricular activities.
AWARD:
Several winners are chosen. For the 2002-2003 awards, the amount awarded ranged from $7,500 to $2,000.
