American Society for Microbiology: Robert D. Watkins Minority Graduate Fellowship

PURPOSE:
Annual fellowships to support underrepresented minority students who wish to conduct research in the microbiological sciences and to increase the number of underrepresented minorities completing doctoral degrees in the microbiological sciences.
FIELD OF STUDY:
Microbiological Sciences.
ELIGIBILITY:
Graduate students from underrepresented minorities who are members of the American Society for Microbiology and have completed their first year of study. US Citizens or permanent residents only. Medical or veterinary degree holders not eligible.
AWARD:
$15,000 annual stipend for up to three years not to be used for tuition and fees.
