Association: Abel Wolman Fellowship
- PURPOSE:
- Annual award to support a promising doctoral student in the U.S.,
Canada, or Mexico who is pursuing advanced training and research in the
field of water supply and treatment.
- FIELD OF STUDY:
- Fields in the biological and physical sciences related to water
supply and treatment.
- ELIGIBILITY:
- Citizens and permanent residents of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
who are registered in doctoral degree programs. Applicants should
expect to complete degree requirements within two years of receiving
the fellowship.
- AWARD:
- An initial stipend of $15,000 for 12 months, as well as $1,000
for research support and up to $4,000 in tuition expenses, if
necessary. The fellowship may be renewed for a second year of support
upon submission of evidence of satisfactory progress and approval of a
review committee.
