American Water Works Association: Holly A. Cornell Scholarship

PURPOSE:
Annual award to encourage and support outstanding female and minority students pursuing advanced training in the field of water supply and treatment. The award honors the memory of Holly A. Cornell, co-founder of CH2M Hill, Inc.
FIELD OF STUDY:
Fields related to water supply and treatment, especially in physical sciences and engineering.
ELIGIBILITY:
Women and members of under-represented minority groups who are registered in master's degree programs. Citizens of the U.S. Applicants should not expect to complete degree requirements before December 1 following the application deadline. Individuals who plan to begin graduate study in the fall semester are encouraged to apply.
AWARD:
A one-time award of $5,000 is made in the fall semester following the application deadline.
