Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf: College Scholarship Awards

PURPOSE:
Annual award program to support undergraduate and graduate students with moderate to profound hearing loss to continue their studies.
FIELD OF STUDY:
All fields.
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must have a moderate to profound hearing loss either since birth or before acquiring language and must have a 60 dB or greater hearing loss in the better ear in the speech frequencies of 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz. Applicants must use speech and residual hearing and/or speech-reading (lip-reading) as their primary and preferred mode of communication. Can be awarded twice, but must be applied for; it is not automatically renewed.
AWARD:
Awards range from $250 to $1,000.
