- PURPOSE:
- Annual award to encourage minority students to pursue careers in
engineering.
- FIELD OF STUDY:
- Engineering: aerospace, chemical, computer, computer science,
electrical, environmental, industrial, materials, mechanical. Also
physical and life sciences which include biological sciences,
chemistry, mathematics and physics. See Web site for complete list of
fields.
- ELIGIBILITY:
- American citizens belonging to: American Indian, Black American,
Mexican American, Puerto Rican or other Hispanic Americans.
- AWARD:
- M.S.: Minimum $10,000 stipend over 3 semesters/4 quarters. Ph.D.:
Minimum $14,000 academic year stipend for 5 years
