Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
- PURPOSE:
- Annual program to help understand the health and environmental
effects associated with energy technologies and developing and
sustaining basic and applied research programs at the frontiers of
biomedical and environmental sciences in which DOE has responsibilities
or unique capabilities.
- FIELD OF STUDY:
- Life, Biomedical and Environmental Sciences as well as and other
scientific disciplines involved with global change and human and
microbial genome research.
- ELIGIBILITY:
- U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens. Applicants must have
received a doctoral degree within last two years.
- AWARD:
- Annual stipend of $37,500 the 1st year and $40,500 the 2nd year
(renewal for the 2nd year is dependent upon recommendation of the
laboratory and subject to availability of funds); some inbound travel
and moving expenses.
