- International Institute for
Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA): The Peccei and Mikhalevich Fellowships
- PURPOSE:
- Three annual scholarships granted to outstanding participants of
the Young Scientists Summer Program (YSSP) enabling the participants to
return to IIASA for an additional three months the following year.
- FIELD OF STUDY:
- Include, but are not limited to, economics, risk analysis,
atmospheric and earth sciences, global change studies, applied
mathematics, statistics, systems analysis, environmental policy,
environmental engineering, forestry, remote sensing, geography,
physics, chemistry, ecology, international law, energy studies, water
resources, political science.
- ELIGIBILITY:
- Applicants must be from the previous pool of participants of
IIASA's Young Scientists Summer Program. Work must begin within 12
months from the announcement of the award. Applicant's interests should
correspond with ongoing research at IIASA as described in the project
descriptions found at : http://www.amacad.org/projects/iiasa2.html
- AWARD:
- living expenses, travel to and from IIASA - no financial
assistance for dependents
