National Inventors Hall of Fame: Collegiate Inventors Competition

PURPOSE:
Annual program to encourage college students active in science, engineering, mathematics, technology, and creative invention by providing cash awards and recognition for extraordinary achievement.
FIELD OF STUDY:
Open to all fields.
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must have been registered as full-time students for all or part of the prior 12 months, either as graduate or undergraduate students. There are no citizenship or residency restrictions. Teams of up to 4 individuals may apply. Winners are required to attend the award ceremony in September.
AWARD:
Each winning student or team receives $20,000 and a $2,000 gift certificate to Hewlett-Packard. The winner's academic advisor receives $10,000.
