- National Inventors Hall of
Fame: Collegiate Inventors Competition
- PURPOSE:
- Annual program to encourage college students active in science,
engineering, mathematics, technology, and creative invention by
providing cash awards and recognition for extraordinary achievement.
- FIELD OF STUDY:
- Open to all fields.
- ELIGIBILITY:
- Applicants must have been registered as full-time students for
all or part of the prior 12 months, either as graduate or undergraduate
students. There are no citizenship or residency restrictions. Teams of
up to 4 individuals may apply. Winners are required to attend the award
ceremony in September.
- AWARD:
- Each winning student or team receives $20,000 and a $2,000 gift
certificate to Hewlett-Packard. The winner's academic advisor receives
$10,000.
