Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE)/ U.S. Department of Energy: Civilian Radioactive Waste Management Fellowship Program

PURPOSE:
Annual program to support graduate work in fields related to the management of spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive wastes; including a practicum at one of several DOE research facilities.
FIELD OF STUDY:
Earth sciences, engineering, material science, radiation science
ELIGIBILITY:
Master's or Doctoral Students. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident and be attending a university affiliated with the program.
AWARD:
$14,400 minimum stipend +$300/month stipend during practicum. Tuition and fees up to $8,000 per year; some travel expenses. Renewable for up to four years.
