Radioactive Waste Management Fellowship Program
- PURPOSE:
- Annual program to support graduate work in fields related to the
management of spent nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive wastes;
including a practicum at one of several DOE research facilities.
- FIELD OF STUDY:
- Earth sciences, engineering, material science, radiation science
- ELIGIBILITY:
- Master's or Doctoral Students. Must be a US citizen or permanent
resident and be attending a university affiliated with the program.
- AWARD:
- $14,400 minimum stipend +$300/month stipend during practicum.
Tuition and fees up to $8,000 per year; some travel expenses. Renewable
for up to four years.
