Smithsonian Institution, Office of Fellowships: Minority Internships

PURPOSE:
Annual program to increase participation of minority groups who are under-represented in Smithsonian scholarly programs, in the disciplines of research conducted at the Institution, and in the museum field.
FIELD OF STUDY:
Fields of study and research related to Smithsonian Institution programs and museums.
ELIGIBILITY:
Students beginning graduate study and senior undergraduates from under-represented minority groups. Applicants contact the Smithsonian program of interest to them to propose a period of internship.
AWARD:
Interns are paid a stipend of $350 per week for the ten-week internship period.
