Visiting Student Awards
- PURPOSE:
- Annual award to allow Native American graduate students to pursue
short-term independent research projects in association with
Smithsonian Institution staff.
- FIELD OF STUDY:
- Open
- ELIGIBILITY:
- Individuals who are related, formally or informally, to a Native
American community. Full-time graduate students who wish to pursue a
short-term research project under supervision of Smithsonian
Institution staff.
- AWARD:
- For stays of up to 21 days, a stipend of $100 per day. For stays
of 3 to 10 weeks, $350 per week, plus travel and research allowances.
