Smithsonian Institution, Office of Fellowships, Native American Awards Program: Native American Visiting Student Awards

PURPOSE:
Annual award to allow Native American graduate students to pursue short-term independent research projects in association with Smithsonian Institution staff.
FIELD OF STUDY:

ELIGIBILITY:
Individuals who are related, formally or informally, to a Native American community. Full-time graduate students who wish to pursue a short-term research project under supervision of Smithsonian Institution staff.
AWARD:
For stays of up to 21 days, a stipend of $100 per day. For stays of 3 to 10 weeks, $350 per week, plus travel and research allowances.
