- U.S. Department of Homeland
Security (DHS), Science and Technology Directorate: Graduate Fellowships
- PURPOSE:
- Annual awards to support graduate students who have career goals
aligned with the mission and objectives of the DHS.
- FIELD OF STUDY:
- Physical, biological, social, and behavioral sciences, including
such fields as science policy, engineering, mathematics, and computer
sciences.
- ELIGIBILITY:
- Citizens of the U.S. who are registered full-time in graduate
degree programs at U.S. institutions. Applicants should not have
completed more than one year of graduate study at the time of starting
the fellowship.
- AWARD:
- A stipend of $2,300 per month for 12 months; renewable for up to
2 additional years, upon satisfactory progress. Tuition payment is not
specified, but is "competitive with other national fellowship
programs."
- DEADLINE:
- April 30
- APPLICATION:
- On or before April 30, applicants must notify DHS of their
intention to apply for the fellowship. Completed applications must be
