U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology Directorate: Graduate Fellowships

PURPOSE:
Annual awards to support graduate students who have career goals aligned with the mission and objectives of the DHS.
FIELD OF STUDY:
Physical, biological, social, and behavioral sciences, including such fields as science policy, engineering, mathematics, and computer sciences.
ELIGIBILITY:
Citizens of the U.S. who are registered full-time in graduate degree programs at U.S. institutions. Applicants should not have completed more than one year of graduate study at the time of starting the fellowship.
AWARD:
A stipend of $2,300 per month for 12 months; renewable for up to 2 additional years, upon satisfactory progress. Tuition payment is not specified, but is "competitive with other national fellowship programs."
