Mission Statement

The mission of Auburn University's Department of Aerospace Engineering is:

"To produce high quality, adaptable, systems oriented aerospace engineers who will contribute to the advancement of aerospace engineering and related disciplines; advance the state-of-the-art and educate graduate students by conducting research in the classical aerospace areas such as aerodynamics, astrodynamics, flight dynamics and control, structures and propulsion, incorporating new innovations such as adaptive aerostructures, integrated aerospace vehicle design, wireless communication and digital simulation."
