Aerospace Science and Technology

Abbreviated Title Aerosp. Sci. Technol.
Publication Cycle Monthly
Scope

The merger of Recherche Aérospatiale and ZFW (Zeitschrift für Flugwissenschaften und Weltraumforschung), both leading journals in France and Germany, gave birth to Aerospace Science and Technology. Published by a bi–national editorial team under the auspices of the national research establishments ONERA and DLR in cooperation with the DGLR. In 1999, four other European research establishments have joined ONERA/AAAF and DLR/DGLR within AST: CIRA (Italy), INTA (Spain), NLR (The Netherlands) and FOI (Sweden), giving the journal a dimension truly representative of the weight of European countries within the aerospace research community.

The journal Aerospace Science and Technology publishes original papers and review articles related to all fields of aerospace research, from fundamental research to industrial applications for the design and manufacture of aircraft, helicopters, missiles, launchers and satellites. The main scientific topics are related to: fluid dynamics, materials and structures, propulsion, flight mechanics, guidance and control, noise, sensor technology, automatic systems, data processing and transmission.
