Dianqi (Daniel) Fang received the B.S. degree in Thermal Power Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in June 1997. He then received the M.S. degree in Power and Thermophysics Engineering in April 2002.  In August 2002 he joined Dr. Majdalani at Marquette University where he pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working on the bidirectional vortex engine simulation, he earned his M.S. two years later, in August 2004.  He presently works for Caterpillar, Inc., Peoria, IL.
