Kyle T. Ressler received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University in 2001. He then worked with Professor Michael Swartwout at Washington University in St. Louis where he pursued a Master of Science degree. His current research involves developing methods to predict the thermal and electrical influence and sensitivity of components in small spacecraft. He has also been developing solar sail designs for use in low-altitude orbits. While an undergraduate student, he has worked with Professor Joe Majdalani in developing asymptotic solutions for the effective thermal conductivities of multiple heat sinks used in the cooling of electronics. He has also performed work with Professor Mark Nagurka in the area of Mechatronics. He is the author of three related papers.
