Dr. Tony Saad is a research associate at the Institute for Clean and Secure Energy, University of Utah. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee Space Institute in 2010 where he worked with Dr. Majdalani on constructing new analytical solutions for the non-reacting flow in rocket motors. He is currently developing advanced simulation tools for exascale reacting flow simulations on hybrid parallel architectures. His interests span a wide range of applications including high performance computing, pressure-projection methods, low-Mach number flows, population balances, and perturbation methods.
